IWMSB Roast Beef Sandwiches

So here is the simpliest, high protein and ever-so-good recipe ever.  I use this recipe to make my lunch sandwiches.  Just buy a cheap cut of beef, pop it in the slow cooker for 8hrs and you’ll have tasty and healthy sandwiches all week!

IWMSB Roast Beef Sandwiches

  • Cut of beef for roasting (any will do, I usually pick the cheapest)
  • Can of low sodium beef gravy
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • One garlic close chopped

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and set for 8hrs on low (or high, mine is an old hand-me-down and cooks best on high).  When beef is done, tear with fork, mix back in with gravy then let sit 10-20min more in slow cooker.  Spoon onto whole wheat rolls or refrigerate immediately.  You can add a bit of red wine to the cooker before you start, and add whatever toppings you like after (just make ’em healthy).  Enjoy!
