Overcome Temptation

This is what I need to work on!  I visited family this weekend and ate some cookies and a second helping of turkey dinner.  From MSN.ca:

  1. Eat smaller more frequent meals to aviod rampant hunger
  2. Eat with your other hand to avoid distraction (Hmmm, never heard this one before!)
  3. Weigh youself regularily to avoid losing sight of your goal.
  4. Lift your spirits to avoid emotional eating.

    I never heard of the eating with the other hand thing either. Personally, I would guess if that’s what a person did and do it enough, they would eventually get good at eating with both hands.

    But if you keep yourself focus and when you get into a situation where you have to make a decision about what to eat, try this….make your decision based upon what you want to achieve, what you want to become not based upon where you are now.

    That should help you make the right choice most of the time and when you don’t make the right choice, don’t sweat it, you will the next time.
