I ran my second 5K on the weekend and I ran the whole thing (stopped 3 times to catch breath for a few seconds) and shaved 10min off my time! I was so happy. My cousin and I didn’t get much sleep the night before and we hadn’t been training religously so we were surprised. We’re doing more 5K this year, and aiming for a 10K next year!
Everything in moderation, right? It’s supposed to be a nice warm weekend so get outside for walks, runs and eat in moderation! And enjoy! I know I will. See you next week!
So I signed up for a second round of bootcamp. I lost 1.5 inches around my waist during the last 4 week, 2 nights/week camp. It’s fun. Now I got 3 other girl friends to go with me.
Also down 3 pounds. Woohoo!

I’m back. I haven’t posted recently as I went to family’s for Xmas and New Years and they have no internet. Hell, we were lucky we had hydro with how much snow and ice was one the trees.
My grandmother also passed away on Dec. 13. Right in the middle of exams. So now I am finishing up my last 4 exams this coming week, starting a new set of classes, and returning to work. Whew!
I did gain a few pounds over the holidays. I did drnk a bit (but luckily my family is dry so it wasn’t such an issue). I did eat to my heart’s content. I could still have more turkey. I did try to get in a 15min run every day, and did do lower body (lunges, squats) and upper body (pushups, 15 down to 1) and ab work from the Dummy video. So interested to see if I kept up or increased the muscle mass.
I found my love of running again, and hope to keep that up with my schedule this semester!
NOW TO LOSE THOSE FEW POUNDS AND MORE. MAYBE 15lbs MORE TO GO?!

I went to my nutritionist/trainer yesterday. I was honestly scared because I haven’t been that religious about eating, and have drank a lot lately. I didn’t gain though, still at 149lbs but I did lose a bit more body fat!
Goals is to not gain over the holidays and to improve body fat. Maybe to make shakes that can last me all day (balanced, enough for 3 meals).
Also he showed me workouts for when I have no time to get to the gym.
Upperbody: Pushups! Start with a set of 15. Rest 30 seconds. Do a set of 14, rest for 30. Set of 13, rest for 30 and so on. Upper body workout in a short time!
Lowerbody: Squats! Set of single leg squats, each leg. Then wall squats. Start at a set of 15 with 30 second breaks. Work down to set of 1 as above.
Intervals: Do a set of pushups, squats, crunch, sprint. Do for 15 minutes.

Today is the day! New Moon day, that is. I haven’t done a Dear Diary in a while. A little overwhelming this past month.
I still weigh around 150lbs. I lost about 15lbs since I started this blog. Woohoo! I am seeing a nutritionist, who is also a trainer. We will be meeting next Wednesday and will take workouts.
I have been keeping up with the workouts when I can. I do back/chest and 20min cardio, arms/shoulders with 20min cardio, and sometimes legs (need to lose some mass on these) and try to run when I can and light permits.
I have been eating better than in the summer. No more carrot cake. I have been drinking more though. I eat around my workouts and lots of protein.

Just wanted to confess that I ate a container of Hagan Daaz last night. I was forcing myself to study for a midterm and ate the whole thing. Not proud, it was good. So I effed up.
Got back on the healthy eatingn today, and worked out at home, legs, abs and cardio to DDR2.

I am in the midst of midterms and am sick, so that is why I haven’t been posting. Sorry!
I did go to the gym on Thursday and on suggestion from my nutritionist/trainer, he said to up the weights significantly. 40lbs dumbbell single arm back row – check! 25lbs dumbbell curl – check! “All you need to manage is 4 reps!” Check!
Felt sore the next day, but hello muscles! (Ok, maybe in a few weeks!)

Hello! I met with my nutritionist again today and I lost 3 pounds and almost 2% body fat! Woohoo! His methods work. I worked out 3 times last week, cardio and weights, targeting different parts (lower body and abs, shoulders and arms, back and chest).
So happy! Also eating the way he told me to makes me not hungry later on in the day. No cravings! Also over the (Canadian) Thanksgiving last weekend didn’t over eat, or eat any desserts!

Hello! I am still trying to work out when to go to school, when to work, when to workout and when to post!
I worked out Monday and Wednesday, hoping to Friday and a couple of times on the Thanksgiving Weekend (Yah Canada!).
I’ve been following my nutritionist’s eating plan. Breakfast, eat around the workout, but Wednesday took my treat day and had fastfood (bad!) with some drinks. Probably will break and have drinks this weekend at a friend’s bonfire. Not that sure I’ll go hogwild with the TG food…turkey and veggies!
I think I am having issues with portion, or being lazy near the end of the week. Will look into it next weekend. Should be losing 0.5lbs a week…don’t think I’ve gained but not sure I’ve lost. Will see Wednesday!
This week I broke up the workout into 3 – run abs on sunday, arms shoulders 20min cardio on Monday, little bit of legs and run on Wednesday, and today chest and back with cardio.
My hope is to do a 3 day split with abs on those days, along with 20min of cardio…on off days do 30-40min of cardio. Will report next week!
I will be with family over Fri-Mon. Look for posts Tuesday!
