8 Foods To Pack On Muscle

Men’s Health is very straight forward with what you need to do to build muscle.  Oxygen Magazine had an interesting article a few years ago about how to lose weight like a man.  It was funny how men can and will just do what you are supposed to.  More exercise – shoot some hoops.  Eat better – cut out the fast food and junk food.  Build muscle – up the reps and the weight.  I wish I had that determination!

Bad Digestion? Bloated? Gas? Or Worse?

I read this MSN.com article today titled “10 Foods Tough to Digest“.  These foods may make you feel like crap, bloaty, gassy, give you the runs, etc.  Some I avoid, some I love.  Some you just can’t have when you want to lose some pounds. 

  1. Fried foods
  2. Spicy foods
  3. Chocolate (gasp!)
  4. Citrus juicies
  5. Mashed potatoes
  6. Raw onion
  7. Ice cream
  8. Broccoli and raw cabbage
  9. Beans
  10. Sugar free gum

I did know that sugar can cause lots of digestion problems, so I try to avoid it.  I do want to take a couple of sprigs of broccoli to work, because it’s such a super food, and you can build up tolerance to a high fiber diet, gradually.  Who knew that beans would be on it???  JK.
